Hi Vase - thanks for the feedback, it's all taken on board. From episode 3 onwards we've added a clear 'adult language warning' to the very start of the show. The swearing/cursing isn't consistent, however there is some very vulgar and quite random discussions that do pop up now and then. I'd like to blame the Gloucestershire cider for fuelling this, but all of the hosts are equally guilty at times.
For now i will have to say that i don't see the language/cursing going away anytime soon, and must warn you that the show is going to stay an 'internet safe space', meaning that all are equally welcomed to be offended. So, as with the rest of the internet, if you're likely to be offended by anything that others have to say, please avoid the show.
I can highly recommend our UK cousins over at the Imperial Truth, and also across the pond the Age of Darkness, both shows seem to be aiming for a more family friendly podcast.
Thanks, and keep enjoying the Heresy!
I've made it through the first 90 minutes of episode 1. I really like the content and am enjoying the discussions and topics. However, the vulgar language is just way too over the top for me. I'd like to know that I can listen to an episode at home, on some speakers, while I'm hobbying with kids around. Has the language gotten any better since ep 1? If explicit language can be removed from the podcasts, I would love to listen to more. If not, I have to move on.
Note that I'm not stating that people should or should not conform to my viewpoints. I'm simply stating my own view and situation. I realize that some people want and like vulgarity, and I respect that choice. I hope others can be respectful of my choices as well. Thanks.
