I've already posted a few random examples of my work, but I thought I'd start a thread where I could show off my painted models in one place.

First up is Lorgar.

Here's my Erebus and Kor Phaeron. Erebus has been rebased onto a 32mm base, so I needed to adapt the scenic base so that he still fits. So much detail to paint on Erebus and he took ages. I think he almost looks too busy and I wonder if I'd been better not picking everything out in a different colour.

Here's a couple of tactical squads. One with extra close combat weapons, the other with just bolters and pistols. I still want to get these filled out to 20 models each.

Here's my Laser Rapier Destroyers. The weapons are magnetised and I currently have a single Quad Heavy Bolter I can swap in. Not sure about the weathering on Rapier Carriers - think I may have gone a bit too far and the mud doesn't really fit in with the crew bases.

I got distracted from finishing my Contemptor and ended up painting the interior of my Spartan. The main box fitted together pretty well and I was able to magnetise the doors so that they stay closed when I want them closed, so I thought I may as well give it a try. This is my first attempt at the inside of a tank and it's still very much a work in progress (the whole Spartan that is, rather than just the inside which is pretty much done). Also I had to use a flash, so the colours are a little off, but see what you think.

The Contemptor is nearly finished - just the base left. I cut out a space for a small pool and put some old Citadel water effects in there. However it's now been three days (should take ~24 hours) and it still cloudy and hasn't set properly. Assuming it's gone off and I need some more, do GW still even sell water effects or are there better alternatives now available? Was thinking some quick drying clear epoxy might work and I already have that to hand. Then I just need to decide if the old water effects will ever set properly and I just need to wait or if I can somehow get it off the base without ruining it. Very annoying.
