...and what a game it was! I'm still amazed that my apothecary managed to survive when he rolled two 1:s in a row with 6:es on his FnP rolls... :)

Khârn is such a beast in close combat, what an insane amount of lethality packed into one character!

I want to see a close combat between Kharn and his pit fighters vs. Sigismund and his knights.

Dirty and blood soaked... that's the essential look of the World Eaters. That contemptor looks a proper beserker.

Great looking Butchers, I'd add another 5 - you won't regret it.

They look sick. I'm really digging the gritty vibe. It just makes the minis so much more expressive. I wish GW and FW promoted this style of painting more - the stuff that they do promote these days is way to computer gamey in style

I think FW does a good job of the gritty style. personally, I am a fan of the late 90's style. so my World Eaters (and Ogre Kingdom) are squeaky clean.

Looks real good Lill

Sorry for the incredibly lousy picture. Daylight is scarse in scandinavia this time of the year

Thank you! I really like the clean style on some stuff, but i think painting like this really suits the eaters of worlds, plus it's really funnand forgiving style to paint. The tanks feel more like painting on canvas than on models

Don't get me wrong I too like the clean style on some things. Mostly the "nicer" xenon and some sm chapters, just wish gritty was displayed a bit more than it is, though yes FW do a brilliant job of it for some things. And yes WE do look better looking like they're getting stuck in. The colour scheme is quite hard to pull off looking immaculate and clean without loosing depth.

Sure thing. I actually made a little step by step guide when I joined this forum a while ago. But it is in the gallery section, I'll see if I can post it here
