Hello all!

I decided some months ago to return to the Hobby after a ten year hiatus and I must say it's been an absolute blast. When I left 40k (after 4th ed had just come out) the Horus Heresy was still quite shrouded in mystery but i remember reading the old index astartes articles in WD and the idea of creating a force of pre heresy era traitors has appealed to me ever since.

fast forward ten years and after digging out some old paints and supplies and after some lurking around the forums I would like to present my WIP version of everyones favourite lunatic legion.

Great to see you models here as well as in real life. I'll make sure to kill them extra hard this wednesday.

Hehe, I'm working on it but life outside the Hobby tends to take up quite some time I'm afraid.

On the workbench:
A bunch of tac marines, almost done
Assault marines, almost done
Contemptors, almost done
Command squad, 50% done
Primus medicae, built
Spartan, built
Proteus, in box
Another predator, in box

Some pictures of the stuff that is almost done can be seen in the mini battle report from the other day at http://heresy30k.inv...view=getnewpost

Hello everyone! It's been quite a while since I posted any progress here but I am still around. Truth is I haven't found any time to paint lately, but I did manage to get a game in yesterday against Excessus' Alphas in FLGS.

I am planning to get this army painted for the first larger 30k event here in Sweden next year.

I like the look of playing 30k on sand coloured terrain boards, it certain lifts the miniatures.

...and what a game it was! I'm still amazed that my apothecary managed to survive when he rolled two 1:s in a row with 6:es on his FnP rolls... :)

Khârn is such a beast in close combat, what an insane amount of lethality packed into one character!

'In war, it is only the truly foolish who seek conflict and death purely for its own sake; the sword is a tool of the warrior-scholar just as is the pen, and neither should be wielded without first understanding that which the wielder seeks to gain from their actions'
