All good, you dont need to have the Pacts ready before the launch date, just cant start painting them before, you can start as many pacts throughout the challenge (the rest of the year!).

The main pages for the Mustering have now been activated along with the online rules and some help pages for creating Pacts, however the ability to create the Pacts will remain deactivated until Korocite makes the launch announcement latter this month.

This could be just the thing to get me to paint my legion. One thing I was wondering though. I've been working on stand-in for Sanguinius to tide me over until Forgeworld releases their definitive version. Would I be able to PACT this model? And if so what points should I use for him? I have been anticipating using him as Corax in games. Though I did come up with a ruleset for him last year sometime, which I believe I posted on here somewhere.

Here is how he looks so far. Next to a part-painted Angron for scale.

From today, you can submit the photo of the unit you wish to paint for the first Inspection: swell the ranks. The Inspection will run for the month of June.

We have instituted a security keyword to ensure that no one gets a head start  on each monthly Inspection. The keyword for June is "Blue". Remember that the minis can be prepared to base coat stage at the most, and you must include the keyword "blue" written on paper (or something else) in the photo, or include something blue in the photo. Feel free to get creative - anything blue will do.

@Grifftofer, I will leave it to Dono to decide on an appropriate points value for your Sanguinius conversion, but it given the theme for this event, it should be fine for a pact.

Steve

Awesome looking conversion mate! More than happy to have you include that into the event, if you run him as Corax happy for you to use those points.

Just uploaded my first PACT. 2000pts for the Midnight Clad.

Tomorrow I'm aiming to upload my Sons of Horus

Hopefully get both of those done in the next 3 months, then I've got about 2500pts more for the VIIIth.

Q for Dono (or any other knowledgeable person) - should I try to embed the pics of my unpainted models? Or would it clutter the page and make it load too slow (I've linked to 800x450 pixel images at the moment)? If I do embed, then HOW?

Awesome work!

I have just edited the Pact with the code which creates them into a gallery for you, you are free to copy that for your future Pacts or use different methods. I think it would be better to display the images in some way on the page itself rather than just links, I know not many people will click on the links, but if they see a preview they are more inclined to.

This is a REALLY useful help site which shows a number of various ways to link images on the wiki:

Day two and we already have Pacts in the systems!

Night Lords are off to a head start with a lofty 1995 point commited by Chopper008 followed a fair way behind by the First Legion with a 700 point Pact from Wiseman.

The front page will now be updated periodically with the summary tallies, however to view the live points total simply go to the Mustering main page: http://aus30k.com/30...e=The_Mustering

Dont forget that entries are now open for this months competition; Inspection 1: Swell the Ranks (http://aus30k.com/30...nspections_2015)

Nice work on getting started with the pact creations. I notice that we have our first Inspection entry from ThatGuy462 who has entered a mechanicum unit (complete with blue ultramarine). I look forward to seeing how they get painted up!

Just entered my Lucius Pattern Reaver Titan into the Mustering for the Mechanicum!

We are starting to get a few entries into both the Mustering and the first Inspection as well. Keep them coming!

Just over a week in and The Mustering has started growing, with thousands of points of units committed by people to various Legions already. At the moment the Night Lords are just in the lead over the Mechanicum but that is sure to change in coming weeks and months as more and more people start coming on board!

Also be sure to check out this months mini competitions, or Inspections, which is Swell the Ranks; the painting of a full sized infantry unit. Again there are already a number of entries into this competition, however this only lasts a month, so be sure to get onto this one early!!

For more information on the painting event please have a look at either of the links above and be sure to pop along to the Facebook page setup to help support the entrants:https://www.facebook...66986793524803/

If you have any questions, as usual, please don't hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to help out,
Cheers Dono

So do we enter inspections separate to our pacts or add them to both?

you can enter both with the same unit (need to create both an Inspection and a PACT).

For example if I create a PACT with:

20 Breachers
5 Terminators
10 Templar Brethren
1 Sicaran

I could then create additional Inspections for this months competition for
20 Breachers
and another one for
10 Templar Brethren

You can enter the Inspection with as many entries as you like, but they need to be started and finished in the same month of the Inspection. Hope that makes a little sense?

We are now half way through the first month of The Mustering and half way through the first Inspections mini competition which is Swell the Ranks; painting a maximum sized Infantry unit before the end of the month.
