Not jet, but I want to play here with the officio assassinorum suplement as a Eversor assassin. Of corse it is not allowed to ally a 30k army with a 40k dataslate but as long as it is fluffy and not to cheesy, it is no problem for the people I play against.

Yeah totally!

One idea, you could make rules for it using the "Malagra" Arcana and the right weapons.. Maybe also a relic?

Magos, Malagra, Cyber Familiar, Nanyte Blaster, Rad Grenades and master crafted powerfist/chainfist to represent the claw?

Lots of options!

Excellent work.  Really like all the conversions and the Assassin, and the ambient, and the thrall conversions....  so much goodness here and it all comes together very well.

What is the assassin model based on.  I have seen it before but cannot remember the maker.

You are right, a malagra magos would fit very good too. And with her Jet Pack shoes she could join a Thallax unit :)

It is no conversion, she comes as she is from Blightwheel Miniatures

I love this model, she looks just like John Blanches Remiare:

Alright, as the oilcolor is drying I got time to mess aroung with new toys.
I want to build two Castellax with multimelta and siege wreckers, two big and mean wreckingballs :D

As there is no FW modell for a siege wrecker I have to convert them. Inspiration comes from this fanmade artwork:
http://image.boltera...9225_284142.jpg
This is done by Iron Hands Fanatic, go check out his awesome stuff:
http://www.bolterand...-clan-brannsar/

So the conversion is quite simple, I just replaced the Castellax clam with a siege drill from the Centurions:

What do you think?

The rest of the two guys is mostly in pieces, so still allot of stuff to do:

Nice simple, but clever conversion.

Alright, they are build:

As all 5 of my Castellax have Boltcannons I used some Multimelta from Heavy Support Squads on them. Those needed some trimming and cabeling, but nothing major.

Neat conversion there for the siege wrecker. The work on the multi meltas is also good and ties in with the older legion style of meltas rather than the newer style.

Thanks Coopervisor, I am glad you like them :)

Over the weekend I was able to finish the Thanatar and the Secutors:

Love it! The Thanatar has real character, a war machine that has stomped around on worlds beyond number.

The Secutors look horrendously brutal with their black robes. I guess you bought the pack of nine to get the weapons? I'm considering that myself...

Awesome stuff! The black is nice, and I really like the colour and texture of the bases. Looking forward to seeing more.

Is the dust on the base fixed? If so how did you do it, as you have kept a good dry dusty look. Very nice.

Fantastic work! I really like the thanatar. Perfect blend of black main colour and non-black detail, imo.
