I am planning to add a Greater Brass Scorpion to my Iron Warriors as they fall deeper into the embrace of Chaos.

Does anyone have any experience of working with this model, any issues with stability or weak points?

It's a really nice model, I have one for my Mechanicum, although i'm yet to use it in a game.

No real issues putting him together. I did the joints on the legs and claws with superglue and green stuff, though I suspect people may also pin them as they would be the weak points.

As i've not used it, i've not transported so maybe the weak points haven't been tested yet.

Cheers Coop!!!

So the model sits well on a flat table, without it feeling fragile?

Yeah, just a case of assembling on a flat surface so all the legs are flat when standing.

With my new desert terrain layout, I can't see this being a problem.

Thanks again!!!

I think it will also look great in Iron with some hazard stripes.

Most stuff does. Certainly better than stuff in yellow...

I done one before a long time ago.

I would suggest painting it in parts and then pin the legs to the body.
And you should try getting the khorne symbol off the tail :)

Maybe my Iron Warriors are worshipers of Khorne ;)

Had one back in the day, a very nice model and extremely easy to assemble. Plenty of flat surfaces to do designs and whatnot on. I wish I still had pics of mine, I did a case from bright red in the middle of the panels out to pitch black.
